Things to bring

According to the Forsyth County Board of Elections, to be eligible to vote you must:
  1. Be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Be at least 18 years old by the date of the general election (November 3, 2026).
  3. Be a resident of Forsyth County for at least 30 days prior to the election.
  4. Not be serving a felony sentence, including any period of probation, post-release supervision, or parole.
  5. Provide a Photo ID: North Carolina law requires voters to present an acceptable photo ID (such as a NC Driver’s License, U.S. Passport, or approved student ID) to vote in person or by mail.
